Время от времени, получаются в моем Guestbook неожиданные сообщения на русском. До сих пор ничего от настоящего корриспондента, к сожалению –– но, конечно мир большой ... Новый мой проект: перевод Высоцкого на английский. И вот, в чем дело: для нерусских, приходится по моему перевести не только слова, а также музыку: минорная тональность просто не понятна большинству американцам и подобным англоговорящим. Сейчас послушайте пример: песня Clamberine является таким переводом, т.е. слов И музыки. Приветствую любую комментарию...

Just a note to remind everyone that I can be seen and heard (and talked to and have drink bought for) at the Radisson / St Helen's in Booterstown, down the Stillorgan Rd. It's a session, an unamplified, unstructured thing, free entry, very nice surroundings. Usual participants include Isabel ni Churrain on accordeon and keyboards, Joe Dunne (songwriter extraordinaire) on mandola and guitar, and George Staines on guitar and vocals. This lineup is normally contributed to by Alison O'Donnell, formerly of the seminal 70s artfolkrock Mellow Candle, and John Kenny on djembes. Frequent appearances as well by the great uillean piper Eoin Kenny.
